  10. first my VCR, then my sewing machine, now my computer...it's that time of 
  11. the year where all the things that needs pluged in doesn't work..don't you 
  12. hate that!! and going to dealers to fix these things can mean empty wallet..
  13. you get a little ahead in life...and this shit starts to happen..

  15. Well lets see if am able to get my questions across and can get help 
  16. from any of you...

  18. KEYBOARDS!! am i just hard on them or does amiga make crappy keyboads? 
  19. First keyboard the keys were shot...no hope... so i got a used one from a 
  20. friend which she never used, it was working nicely for about 6 months.. 
  21. now all the sudden- nothing...unless i pull the cord on the back of the 
  22. keyboard upward. it's like it has a short in the wire... now, i try to be 
  23. careful putting up my keyboard when done..but jeeze.. now, can i get it 
  24. fixed or are they going to tell me- "sorry ...$100.00 for new one is what 
  25. you need" ..we are such a throwaway society. i'm using the keyboard now 
  26. but it will stop once and awhile and make me have to play with the cord 
  27. in the back..

  29. NOW, something else happened at the same time the keyboard started acting 
  30. up.. (by the way i have a amiga 2000hd) when turning it on, right before 
  31. it brings up the icons, it says... BATTERY BACKED UP CLOCK NOT FOUND (it 
  32. also says something about cli2) now at first i thought that had something 
  33. to do with my keyboard,
  34. nothing would happen when i typed..but after playing with the cord it 
  35. looks as if it's a short...   sorry, i'm rambling... the questions are 
  36. these..       1) can keyboards be fixed, as in new cords but in?

  38.               2) what does that mean when the screen reads-BATTERY BACKED 
  39. UP CLOCK NOT FOUND? Do i need this battery? can i get one, bring home and 
  40. pop it right in? or does it need welded on?? and whats a fair price to 
  41. pay for this??
